JiuHe won the bid for a 1984-built 60,951dwt bulker "Fuxing 7" owned by Zhejiang Fuxing Shipping Co., Ltd. in a public auction held in Zhejiang Shipping Exchange at 10 a.m. on May 24. There were 19 bidders in the process. The starting price was RMB15 million. The transaction price came in at RMB22.2 million.
The bulker (34,332gt, 19,226nt) was built by Japanese shipyard KOYO DOCKYARD CO., LTD. It is classed by CCS. It measures 223m in length overall, 32.2m in breadth moulded, and 17.9m in depth moulded. The number of the main engine is one and the power is 8,750kw. Light ship displacement hits 11,629t.
JiuHe's sales representative Liu Siyuan participated in the auction and won the bid for the bulker.
