At a video conference on May 31,2022, Yu Jianzhen, Chairman of Shanghai Jiuhe Shipbuilding Technology Group, emphasized the need to effectively coordinate epidemic prevention and control with business development, and to spare no effort in achieving annual targets. The meeting, chaired by Yu and attended by the group's leadership, focused on implementing the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Government's guidelines for balancing epidemic control with economic growth. Group leaders shared updates on recent epidemic prevention measures and operational progress across subsidiaries, while the meeting also outlined strategies for the next phase of resumption and management in light of updated policies.

Yu Jianzhen emphasized that during the severe challenges of Shanghai's latest COVID-19 outbreak, the entire Jiuhe Shipbuilding Group actively complied with government epidemic prevention requirements, adhering to the principle of "no relaxation in prevention, no suspension of production, no halt in operations, and uninterrupted management." The group overcame pandemic-related difficulties, maintaining stable market share and sustained revenue growth. Throughout the outbreak, all business units and management departments maintained online operations, completing tasks with high quality, fully embodying the corporate spirit of "integrity, professionalism, efficiency, and innovation" at Jiuhe Shipbuilding Group. All Party members and employees responded promptly to community calls, immediately registering as volunteers to support epidemic control efforts while staying true to their original aspirations. As the executive vice president unit of the Shanghai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, Jiuhe Shipbuilding Group actively responded to the chamber's call of "Love in Zhejiang, Standing Guard in Shanghai," shouldering responsibilities to assist pandemic response efforts through donations of funds and supplies to Beicai Town and Yangjing Subdistrict in Pudong New Area. Upholding the core values of "respecting employees and giving back to society," the Group's board maintained "no layoffs, no salary cuts, and no delayed payments" during the pandemic, fulfilling social responsibilities and standing with all employees through these challenging times.

Yu Jianzhen emphasized that Shanghai's epidemic prevention and control is transitioning to a normalized phase. With the full resumption of production and daily life, we must resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the higher-level Party committees and governments. With a sense of urgency and decisive action, we should reorganize and set out anew to more efficiently coordinate epidemic prevention and business development. First, we will fully advance the resumption of work and production. Starting from June 6, 2022, all personnel in the group's Shanghai headquarters and its subsidiaries will resume normal work. In accordance with the resumption plan, strict epidemic prevention measures will be implemented, and preparations for work resumption will be completed. Second, we will adhere to the principle of "winning both hands" in epidemic control and business management. We must unify our thoughts, strengthen confidence, and take proactive actions. Through the joint efforts of all employees, we will make up for lost time and compensate for losses caused by the pandemic, minimizing its impact on the company's operations and management, and fully achieving the annual targets set by the group. Third, we will mobilize the entire group to accelerate the development of various business sectors. Affected by the pandemic, the group faces significant challenges this year.
