On July 30,2024, the highly anticipated INAMARINE 2024 Indonesia International Maritime Exhibition opened at Jakarta International Convention and Exhibition Center. In recent years, as the global manufacturing center continues to shift eastward, Indonesia has emerged as a key Asian manufacturing hub. The booming market demand, coupled with the country's limited local shipbuilding capacity, has fueled the rapid growth of the maritime industry. The annual INAMARINE has become the largest, most influential, and most professional event in Indonesia's shipping and shipbuilding sectors.

To expand into Southeast Asian markets and identify new growth opportunities, Jiuhe Shipbuilding Group's team braved scorching heat to attend the International Maritime Exhibition in Indonesia. Though brief, the three-day event marked the beginning of fruitful collaborations. The company engaged in extensive discussions with nearly 100 Indonesian shipowners and service providers, earning widespread acclaim and positive feedback from attendees. Despite Indonesia's challenging terrain with numerous islands and limited transportation, some clients traveled hundreds of kilometers to meet with us, while others waited at the exhibition entrance since early morning. The market's vibrancy far exceeded our expectations.
Through this exhibition, Jiuhe Shipbuilding Group has gathered substantial first-hand data on ship supply and demand, established communication channels with numerous clients, and secured potential collaboration projects. Most importantly, the group gained firsthand insights into Indonesia's local market conditions and a deeper understanding of clients' actual needs, laying a solid foundation for further market development in Indonesia. Despite the global economic downturn, the shipping industry remains undaunted, setting sail to navigate challenges. Shanghai Jiuhe Shipbuilding Group extends its gratitude to all clients and friends who participated in and supported this exhibition, and looks forward to more future collaborations.
